Finding Reliable InformationThere are many trusted sources of information available on the Internet. Two that I recommend include The American Society of Plastic Surgeons Web site and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery site. Another helpful source is Realself.com, which allows plastic surgeons and members of the medical community to interact with prospective and current patients. Perhaps the best way to obtain accurate information, however, is to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon that you trust. You surgeon should be able to explain your procedure in detail and answer your questions with honesty.
