Although the difference may seem obvious, the distinction between surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures is important to understand before you choose. As the popularity of non-surgical treatments grows, it's more important than ever to understand what they can and can't do.

The key essentials include:

  • Surgical results are permanent, non-surgical results usually are not.
  • Surgical results usually achieve more significant results than non-surgical procedures.
  • Non-surgical procedures usually involve quicker, more comfortable recovery.

For men and women with limited time or a limited budget, non-surgical procedures offer great results. But for people who want a dramatic, long-lasting improvement, surgery may be a better choice. Most of my Orange County plastic surgery patients report that their terrific new look is well worth the time it took to recover.

As techniques and technologies advance, non-surgical treatments can do more. I'm excited about further improvements and additional options.
