(Forest Park, MO) -- Slipping into your bikini can win you a free breast augmentation this spring. On May 1, The Tan Company plans to break the record listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest bikini parade. In signing up, participants automatically receive five free tans and have the opportunity of winning $30,000 worth of prizes through a raffle, which includes a breast augmentation valued at $5,500.

The Longest Tan Line event will take place at 2 p.m. May 1 at the St. Louis Microfest Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park. An expected 500 participants will walk 1 mile dressed in their two piece suits. Men can participate for their significant other as well as long as they’re in their bikinis too! Immediately following the 1 mile parade will be a raffle drawing, including nearly $30,000 in prizes. “We are looking for fun events for the community and this seemed like a good one for our customers,” said Stephanie Struckhoff, Vice President of Operations. “The prizes we are offering are very high ticket, so it’s really worth the ladies’ while to enter.”

Prizes include but are not limited to a breast augmentation ($5,500), a Zerona Body Contouring Procedure from The Youthful Body ($3,500), Lower Leg Laser Hair Removal from Ideal Image ($9,063), one year of unlimited tanning from The Tan Company ($400) and a one-year massage package from MassageLuxe ($888). Sign-up begins Feb. 15 at Tancoline.com. All registries will automatically win five free tans to help bronze their bikini body. The Tan Company hopes to beat the current record for the largest bikini parade, which was achieved by 287 participants in an event organized by Kellogg’s Special K in Johannesburg, South Africa on Nov. 7, 2009.
