For many women, choosing their breast implant size in breast augmentation is a difficult decision. While studies suggest that women often choose a breast implant size that is too small, it's also important not to choose one that is too big.
A big breast implant that increases your bust line beyond a "D" cup, can be a great option. However, it is important to recognize that returning for a smaller size can be more problematic than going back to increase your size.
When you try to decrease your breast size, the doctor has to deal with extra skin that is left over from the larger breast. Dealing with this can lead to additional scarring.
The important thing to understand about big breast implants is that if you opt for them, keep in mind that you should probably keep that size from now on. Will you be happy with that breast size
when you are 50 or 60 years old? If the answer is yes, big breast implants may be for you.
