How much will my tax rebate check be? According to the Internal Revenue Service, I should receive a check for 600 Yankee dollars. When will I get my tax rebate check? The IRS states that, "the Treasury will begin sending tax rebate checks out in May." So, like you, I should receive mine via the United States Postal Service by, maybe, sometime in August... hopefully... if they don't lose it.

Now, the all-important, how will I spend my tax rebate check? Probably on male plastic surgery, specifically a cosmetic minimally invasive procedure, such as a microdermabrasion treatment. Men have them, you know? You see, I'm one of the many, many millions of men around the world - call us crazy - who actually cares about how he looks. I'm also one who doesn't go for free cosmetic surgery, such as that being offered by Cosmetica Travel in Tunisia. Seriously, I received a Google alert that stated how Cosmetica Travel in Tunisia is offering one "deserving" person who is "desperate to have cosmetic surgery, but can't afford it" help and assistance in the form of free world-class cosmetic surgery. Thanks, but no thanks. Thanks to my "economic stimulus payment," I can afford several popular cosmetic minimally invasive procedures. And, so can you, and so should you, as the point of an "economic stimulus payment" is to stimulate the economy. Put it in the bank, and you're not being a good American.

Anyway, there are several cosmetic minimally invasive procedures I can afford thanks to my tax rebate check. For instance, I could get a microdermabrasion treatment. Men last year, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), accounted for 184,000 procedures here in the U.S. And the cost? On average, less than $300.

Here are some other cosmetic minimally invasive treatments that can be had for less than the total of your tax rebate check, as well as the number of procedures performed on American men in 2007 (note: the following costs are from 2006 and are courtesy of the ASPS):

BOTOX® Cosmetic: $492 (296,000 procedures)
Laser hair removal: $466 (177,000 procedures)
Sclerotherapy: $332 (5,372 procedures)
