If you choose your surgeon wisely, you can expect good results from your rhinoplasty. But, should a mistake be made during a rhinoplasty procedure, it can have a pretty big impact on a person's appearance, self-confidence, and even breathing. That's where revision rhinoplasty comes into play. In Los Angeles, I perform revision rhinoplasty procedures to correct the mistakes made by other surgeons.

When performing a secondary or revision nose surgery procedure, my primary goal is to improve both aesthetics and function. To do this, I must deal with many challenges. Among these challenges are asymmetry and scar tissue. Another quite significant challenge presents itself when too much tissue was removed during the primary rhinoplasty. When this is the case, I use synthetic materials or grafts of the patient's own tissue to augment the nose.

Revision rhinoplasty requires flexibility and creativity on the part of a surgeon. It is usually more challenging than a primary rhinoplasty due to the challenges mentioned above. The surgeon must take the time to thoroughly evaluate each unique case and develop a personalized treatment plan for every patient. At the end of the day, however, both patient and surgeon feel great satisfaction from a successful revision rhinoplasty. Patients experience improved breathing, appearance, and self-confidence. And I know that, as a surgeon, I feel incredibly fulfilled after performing a procedure that has such a positive impact on a patient's quality of life.

So, if you're not happy with the results of your rhinoplasty, don't give up. You deserve to look and feel your best. A qualified surgeon can and will help you find a solution.
