The UK’s leading cosmetic and weight loss surgery provider, The Hospital Group, has announced an exciting new addition to its team: the renowned Mario Russo.

Mr Russo, who has been working in the cosmetic surgery industry for thirteen years, will join The Hospital Group as Medical Director of Aesthetic Surgery in September this year.

A former employee of The Hospital Group, Mr Russo will return to the company’s pioneering clinic Dolan Park in Bromsgrove after forging a successful career in the ’s cosmetic surgery industry.

“Mr Russo has performed nearly 5000 medical and cosmetic procedures during his career. Mr Russo specialises in aesthetic surgery such as breast surgery and body reshaping, along with less-common procedures such as labioplasty and nipple correction.  His wife Ilaria Russo also joins The Hospital Group’s roster of specialist cosmetic surgeons.

The recruitment of two top surgeons adds to the Group’s capacity at an exciting time of expansion.  In the last year, the Group has opened four clinics in Ireland, three in the UK and in May 2009 announced a move into Spain with Mills Medical. 

Dolan Park Hospital is the largest specialist facility of its kind in Europe and has welcomed several celebrities through its doors.
